When doing energy cleansing, the most important step in the process is your intention. Be clear and intentional about what it is that you are looking to achieve, and allow these divine tools to assist you. At Sacred Gems, we start with sending our deep gratitude to Mother Earth for providing us with all we need and all ancestors and cultures who have been using smudging practices for the longest time. 

Palo Santo: 

Take a Palo Santo stick and hold in the flame for 20-30 seconds, until the wood has caught fire and embers have formed. As it lights, give it an intention or a mantra. It can be whatever you feel like you and your environment need most in that moment. For example, "I release all the energy that is holding me back from living my highest and most abundant life". Allow the Palo Santo smoke to go where it needs to go and the cleansing to take place. Finish the cleansing process by sending gratitude to Mother Earth for her assistance and now invite in new energies to replace the energy that has been removed. Invite in the highest energies of Love, Health, Abundance, Bliss, Peace and Harmony. This can be done as often as desired.

White Sage:

Burning sage is one of the oldest and purest methods of cleansing a person, group of people, or space and releasing unwanted energies. The practice dates back to prehistoric times and it has been documented as having been used in every corner of the world by our ancestors.  Smudging, though, is most associated with northern Native American traditions. Sacred Gems acknowledges and send our gratitude to these wisdom keepers of this sacred tradition and Mother Earth for all her creations.

Selenite Wand:

One of the best companion for crystals! Due to it's very high vibration, Selenite or Satin Spar wands can be used to cleanse and charge other crystals! Simply rest other crystals on or around the selenite overnight. The higher vibrational frequency of Selenite re-energises and cleanses other crystals on or around it, keeping the crystals at their most powerful and pure state.

Selenite sticks can also be used to cleanse your Human Bio Field, or better known as Human Aura. Holding the Selenite stick like a comb, gently "brush" the body from head to toe, holding it a few inches away from the body. As you do this visualise the stagnant energies being taken away from your body by the crystal.
